Description
Water Based red, yellow and black Primer is to “seal” the pores of the wood provides excellent adhesion to glossy surfaces without sanding. It’s great for interior and exterior surfaces. Outstanding low VOC and low odor formula is designed to resist blistering, peeling and mold and mildew growth. Works great in low temperatures, inhibits rust and seal tanning bleed.
Priming: Use on bare or painted surfaces including wood, drywall, cured plaster, concrete, stucco and masonry, aluminum, vinyl, steel, galvanized metal and PVC, DEEP TINT adheres to glossy surfaces such as enamel paints and varnishes, paneling, laminates, and ceramic tile without sanding or deglossing.
Dry Time: Driest to the touch in about 30 minutes: can be recoated in 1 hour. May vary with application method and surface porosity.
Surface Preparation (cont.): Rinse well and allow surface to dry completely before priming. Countersink exposed nail heads, spot prime and fill all nail holes and gouges with Zinsser Ready Patch® spackling compound. Wire brush rusty areas. Spot prime knots and sap streaks with B-I-N ® Primer-Sealer before whole surface priming with Cover-Stain® High Base.
Metallic Pains & Pigments
Are available in powders as well as in pasta and aerosol paint. Paints coating, aerosol and varnish.

Indicative Formulation
- Bronze= 5-10%
- Aluminum= 5-10%
- Varnish-lacquer solvents =95-90%
1-Mix a small quantity of solvent to bronze or aluminum to obtain a predispersion.
2-Add predispersion gradually to varnish or lacquer using a slow rotation mixer
